After you finish composing a message in Send Photos window and click the Send button Photos for Grandma will immediately start sending the message and show you the sending status window. Pay attention to message size estimate there as it can be a reference for how long sending of the message will last. At this moment there is no detailed progress indicator for a message.

Note that you can not stop sending a message that is already being sent so you can use this option effectively only when you have multiple recipients. In that case when you press stop sending the program will finish sending the current message and stop immediately after it.

There are two types of errors you can get during message sending process. One represents errors related to your e-mail account settings when the program can not start sending and the other represents termination of the sending process that already began successfully. In the latter case you should simply retry sending, immediately or later.

If the problem with message sending came from bad e-mail account settings the program will offer you the chance to fix it right away. It could be that you have made a mistake in specifying the outgoing mail server and/or its port number or if the mail server requires authentication you may have forgotten to enter or supplied a wrong account name and password for it.
